One hub for cameras, lights, and auxiliary instruments
The CC1 Camera System Controller is the integration hub for MarineSitu camera and lighting systems. It accepts a single input connection carrying power and GigE communications, then distributes both to up to two C1 cameras and up to eight L1 LED lights, simplifying umbilical routing and reducing corrosion risk by minimizing wet connector count.
Trigger I/O lines enable stereovision synchronization, strobe lighting control, and instrument triggering from a single hub. Internal health monitoring continuously tracks temperature, humidity, and per-channel output current, feeding system status into SaltySuite. An optional 10 Gigabit bandwidth upgrade supports multi-camera high-frame-rate configurations.
Simplified integration, reliable monitoring
- Supports up to 2 cameras and up to 8 LED lights from a single input connection
- Power switching and monitoring on all output channels (per-channel current readout)
- Up to 10 Gigabit bandwidth for high-frame-rate multi-camera configurations
- Stereo camera synchronization trigger lines for precise frame timing
- Strobe and PWM light control for synchronized illumination
- Auxiliary port for additional instruments: sonar, hydrophone, ADCP, pan/tilt motor
- Internal temperature and humidity monitoring via continuous SaltySuite system health
- Corrosion-resistant PVC housing, double O-ring seals with monofilament retainer
- Power indicator LED for field status checks
Where the CC1 is deployed
- Marine energy monitoring with stereo camera and strobe light arrays at tidal and wave energy sites
- Fish passage with synchronized multi-camera setups and precisely timed illumination
- Aquaculture: multi-camera enclosure monitoring from a single power and comms feed
- Ocean observatories: centralized power and communication hub for camera arrays
- Underwater vehicles: compact hub simplifies ROV and AUV camera integration
