High-resolution imaging at depth
The C1 is MarineSitu's core machine vision camera, built around Allied Vision GigE Series sensors (Alvium, Manta, or Prosilica). Available in resolutions up to 31.4 MP and frame rates up to 464 FPS, the C1 handles everything from high-speed fish passage counting to long-exposure deep water surveys.
Its corrosion-resistant PVC housing, double O-ring seals, and flush borosilicate viewport with copper antifouling retaining ring are engineered to survive years of continuous marine deployment with minimal maintenance. Modular design supports mono or stereo configurations and multiple lens options for field-of-view selection.
Built for the long haul
- Camera sensor options for resolution and frame rate (spec to your application)
- Lens options for field-of-view selection without changing the housing
- Modular design supports mono or stereo configurations
- Double O-ring seals with monofilament retainer for reliable long-term waterproofing
- Flush borosilicate viewport with copper antifouling retaining ring
- Scratch-resistant, annealed borosilicate glass that survives marine biofouling removal
- SAE-4 standard vent port for pressure equalization
- I/O for stereovision, light synchronization, and instrument triggering
- Power indicator LED for field status checks
- Low-cost corrosion-resistant plastic housing, significantly cheaper than titanium alternatives
Where the C1 is deployed
- Marine energy monitoring with continuous surveillance at tidal and wave energy sites
- Fish passage: high frame-rate counting and species classification at fishways
- Aquaculture: long-term stock monitoring without repeated diver intervention
- Underwater vehicles: integration on ROVs and AUVs for survey missions
- Ocean observatories: fixed-station monitoring platforms
